Check laptop ports
1. Each screen of S6 requires both power and video signal in order to function. Power can be supplied via either the laptop's USB-A/ USB-C ports or extra power charger with USB-A port, video signal is carried through the laptop's HDMI/ DisplayPort or full-featured USB-C port.
2. Don't know the types of ports on your laptop? Check your laptop manual for more information, or send us the series name of your laptop (the more specific, the better). Additionally, please take a picture of the ports on the left and right sides of your laptop. Our technical team will respond within 24 hours after carefully diagnosing your case. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please contact sales@siaviala.com.

Check cables
1. Make sure the correct cables are connected from the laptop to the monitor. For general information, see Siaviala S6 Monitor Connection Guide.
2. Make sure the cables are not loose.
3. Make sure the power cable is firmly attached to the monitor. Insert it gently but firmly until it is fully seated.
4. Consider trying a different cable, if available. Some cables are just ordinary cables that only support data transmission or only support device charging, without video signal input function. Some cables are full-featured cables that support both video signal and power supply. If your cable is unable to function, please contact us on purchasing the cable.
5. Try connecting the monitor to a different laptop, if more than one is available.
6. The DP port of S6 must use the HDMI to TYPE-C cable included in the package and be externally powered.

Check the light color
1. Make sure there is a blue light on the back of S6 monitor after connection, if it shows red, it means that the power signal is connect and there is a missing video signal, OR the connection is wrong, OR the cord is not plugged tightly. Check this article for guidelines on the correct connection. If it is blue, wait 1-3 seconds for our product to display the screen.
2. Light flickering? Your laptop may be running low on power. Please connect an additional 5V/2A or higher power adapter OR power bank to charge the monitor and prevent your laptop from going into sleep mode.
3. lf you still can't light up the screen, please contact us directly at sales@siaviala.com.

External Monitor Black Screen when Connected to Dock using DP or HDMI
1. Make sure the correct hub is connected from the laptop to the monitor. For extra two monitor setups, the hub must support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) functionality. Carefully review the product detail page, if supported, this capability is typically highlighted in the key features and detailed descriptions.
2. Make sure the hub drivers has been download. The majority of hubs require driver installation. For example, when installing the driver on a Mac, you need to authorize the hub to obtain certain video permissions. The hub's video conversion functionality only becomes operational after the driver is successfully installed.
3. Make sure the hub support extend mode. Pay close attention to the hub's product details. Some hubs only support mirror mode (duplicate display) and do not support extend mode (using the display as a single extended desktop).
4. Make sure the function of USB-C port on the hub. Currently, most hubs on the market feature USB-C ports are not full-featured. These converted USB-C ports typically only support data transfer and charging, without video signal input. Generally, only the converted HDMI port can transmit a real-time video signal. Use either the HDMI port plus a USB-A port or a USB-C port (if available and specified for video) to connect an external monitor.
5. Make sure the power cable is firmly attached to the monitor.
6. Consider trying a different hub if available.
Display issues with charging port been occupied
Question: Wish to use two S6 screens at the same time, but the laptop's other USB-C port needs to be used for charging. If the two screens directly occupy the only two USB-C ports, the laptop will not be able to charge and power off. How to successfully connect and power two S6 screens without taking up the charging port?
Answer: If your laptop’s battery runs low, one of the monitors may not light up. Since one of the charging port is occupied, in this case, simply provide external power adapter or power bank to the affected monitor. Once externally powered, our product will also deliver charging power back to your laptop, ensuring both screens stay on while keeping your laptop charged. This way, you can maintain a triple-screen setup without sacrificing charging capability.
